  • When is bagged yard waste picked up?

    The City of Indian Rocks Beach does not recycle bagged yard waste due to safety and contamination concerns. All bagged yard waste needs to be placed in your city-issued garbage can and will be removed on your scheduled garbage pick up day.

  • Where should I place my yard waste?

    Please place yard waste within 2 feet of the curb and at least 5 feet away from any mailboxes, telephone poles or other obstructions.

  • What type of container should I use?

    The City of Indian Rocks Beach requires each single-family dwelling or multi-family dwelling unit to utilize a city-issued 64 gallon rolling waste cart.

  • When should I place my garbage container at the curb?

    The City of Indian Rocks Beach requires that garbage cans be brought to the curb or alleyway no later than 7:00 A.M. on the day of service. It is acceptable to place cans out after 7:00 P.M. the night before service. All containers must be removed by 7:00 P.M. the day of collection.

  • How do I fill my (garbage) container?

  • What items cannot be picked up?

  • What service must be used for construction, building and renovation projects?

    The City of Indian Rocks Beach does not supply residents/businesses with construction (roll-off) containers. For this type of service you will need to contact an outside vendor, however still conforming to the City of Indian Rocks Beach Code of Ordinances.

  • When is my garbage collected?

    For single-family homes and duplexes, garbage is collected twice weekly. Depending on the location of your home, the collections will either be Monday and Thursday or Tuesday and Friday. Yard waste is picked up on Wednesdays.
