Public Works Administration

The purpose of this program is to manage and supervise the City’s Public Works and Solid Waste Operations. The program is responsible for maintaining City streets and drainage systems in compliance with the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permitting requirements, maintain City parks and recreational facilities, maintain City buildings and supervise the provision of commercial and residential solid waste collection services.

The Public Works Director also serves as the City’s Construction Manager in the planning, design and construction of new City Facilities.
