City of Indian Rocks Beach Announces Qualified Candidates for 2026 Municipal Election

INDIAN ROCKS BEACH, FL – December 9, 2025 – The City of Indian Rocks Beach has confirmed the candidates who have officially qualified for the Municipal Election on Tuesday, March 10, 2026. The election will fill the offices of Mayor-Commissioner and two City Commission seats. Each seat carries a two-year term, and elected candidates will be sworn in on Wednesday, March 25, 2026.

The qualifying period closed at noon on December 8, 2025, following a comprehensive review of each candidate’s qualification materials by the City Clerk and the completion of petition verification by the Pinellas County Supervisor of Elections.

Commission Candidates:

  • Matthew Barrowclough
  • Don House
  • Michael Mirmanesh
  • Kellee Watt
  • Vice-Mayor Commissioner Janet Wilson (incumbent)

Mayor-Commissioner Candidates:

  • Mayor-Commissioner Denise Houseberg (incumbent)
  • Lan Vaughan

Election Day Information

The Municipal Election will be held at the Indian Rocks Beach Civic Auditorium on March 10, 2026, from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
