Upcoming IRB Nature Preserve Boardwalk Closure
The City of Indian Rocks Beach Nature Preserve Boardwalk will close August 5, 2024, for rehabilitation. The construction project involves the reconstruction of approximately 1700 linear feet of the Boardwalk. The IRB Nature Preserve Boardwalk was opened in the year 2000 and has become a scenic landmark for the City of IRB.
The closure of the Nature Preserve Boardwalk will not impact the 10th Avenue Park or restrooms, nor the park area and dog park at the Nature Preserve.
The tentative reopening of the IRB Nature Preserve Boardwalk is set for January, 2025. The City of Indian Rocks Beach appreciates the public’s understanding as we work to enhance this 24-year-old Boardwalk.
