What you need to know about Hurricane Season
Hurricane Season runs from June 1 to November 30.
The City of Indian Rocks Beach is in Evacuation Zone A due to the City’s low elevation level and a very strong possibility of a storm surge and flooding.
Flooding and storm surge will not just prevent you from leaving—it will also prevent emergency responders from assisting you, if you were to ignore the order and remain on the island. Hurricane Preparedness Guides containing more detailed information are available free at City Hall and the Library.
