TROPICAL STORM ELSA SITUATION REPORT FROM PINELLAS COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT

Thursday - July 1, 2021

• The National Hurricane Center has placed Pinellas County in the five-day forecast of the storm.
• Pinellas County is monitoring the forecast track and preparing for the potential impacts from Elsa. The forecast is highly uncertain at this time.
• Regardless of the storm’s eventual track, high winds, rain, and flooding or storm surge could affect Pinellas County as early as Monday, July 5. Please continue to monitor local weather sources for information on potential for and timing of any local impacts.

The County Information Center is open for preparedness questions today from noon-7 p.m. today at 727-464-4333.
